On March 9, 2022, Ghost over Banksy went social on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Linkedin also fueled by the super influential art page Pink Lemonade.
The launch was supported by some of the most important magazines promoting digital art, culture and innovation such as NSS magazine.
Ghost over Banksy animated Banksy’s Migrant Child stencil and was performed in a desert Venice. Taking place in this unique city with no streets, a boat was used to manage all the carefully planned operations.
The core digital animation dynamics concerned the smoke from the Migrant Child’s torch, which became alive, developing spires and shades, immaterial matter and yet illuminating – framed in the wall façade, emphasized by the water in the canal and the buildings around.
